About Our Homes
We currently have two respite homes. One is located in London, Ontario and the other is in Cambridge, Ontario.
Our London home is licensed by the Ministry of Children and Youth Services to provide short-term respite for up to eight MFTD children between the ages of 0–18 years within the Western Region. This Region includes the counties of Bruce, Elgin, Essex, Grey, Huron, Kent, Lambton, Middlesex, Oxford and Perth. The London home has a great outdoor space with a small wading pool and playground. While the population of children we serve changes all of the time, we seem to have a very high number of toddlers. If you are interested in visiting the home for a tour, please call, we would be happy to show you around.
Our Cambridge home is licensed by the Ministry of Children and Youth Service to provide short-term respite for up to ten MFTD children between the ages of 0-18 years within the Central Region. This Region includes the counties of Dufferin, Halton, Peel, Waterloo and Wellington. The Cambridge home has two levels. The main level focuses mostly on the higher medical needs MFTD children while the lower level supports active ambulatory MFTD children. The unique floor plan supports the division while meeting the needs of the children’s medical needs and activity level. If you are interested in visiting the home for a tour, please call, we would be happy to show you around.
